Raina's remit is to oversee all of Abu Dhabi Media's commercial operations and capitalise on market opportunities with the aim of becoming a commercially viable media entity.
Sanjay Raina, who was previously GM and VP of Fox Networks Group MENA and Pakistan has moved to Abu Dhabi Media Company as Executive Director of its Commercial Department.
In his new role, Raina is tasked with overseeing all commercial operations and ensuring that ADM seeks new opportunities across all brands to optimise its commercial responsibility and proposition in the market.
An internal memo from newly-appointed General Manager Jamal Ahmed Al-Awadhi said: “This appointment is in line with ADM’s new strategy to develop the company’s platforms and keep pace with continuous change. Sanjay will play a pivotal role in enabling the vision of the company. “
Raina has previously held senior management roles at Astro, Malaysia; Ten Sports, UAE; and more recently at Fox, now a Disney entity.
