The Summit will connect fresh new ideas with the right investment opportunities, enabling the signing of MoUs and partnerships that will propel the sector towards future growth.
Abu Dhabi is preparing to welcome the global media and content industry as BRIDGE Summit 2025 takes place from 8 to 10 December at ADNEC. The event, billed as the world’s largest debut media gathering, is expected to draw more than 60,000 participants, over 430 speakers and 150 exhibitors, transforming the capital into a major international hub for discussions on the future of media, entertainment and content.
The summit brings together seven major content pillars — Media, Creator Economy, Technology, Gaming, Music, Marketing and Picture — merging them into a single global conversation that explores what happens when the leading creators, innovators and decision-makers shaping what the world watches, listens to, plays and learns convene on one platform. Built around convergence rather than silos, the event also integrates themes of AI, education, finance and philanthropy into its programming.
A roster of high-profile speakers, including Idris Elba, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Gary Vaynerchuk, Alexis Ohanian, Yang Lan and Andreas Wenger, will lead sessions examining how intelligent technologies, shifting audience behaviours and evolving production methods are reshaping communication, trust and cultural influence. The event positions itself as a live map of how the content economy increasingly underpins modern life.
Gaming will occupy a major space within the summit, with Asia’s largest gaming expo, ChinaJoy, hosting its first-ever international edition at the event. Featuring a dedicated ChinaJoy Pavilion, the programme includes 19 exhibitors such as Tencent Games, Game Science and major titles like Black Myth: Wukong and Delta Force. Their presence will spotlight new game releases, esports growth, creator commerce and international collaborations. A keynote by Brendan “PLAYERUNKNOWN” Greene further strengthens the gaming showcase.
BRIDGE Summit 2025 will also highlight cultural and creative leadership. Gerard Piqué will headline a fireside discussion on the future of sport in the creator era, while Wyclef Jean will explore the evolving artist economy and how musicians can build global audiences without traditional intermediaries. Filmmakers and storytellers including Mohamed Diab and Mitra Darab will address cross-border creativity and the balance between local identity and global reach. Sessions across film, music and creator-led storytelling will examine how creative ownership and community-building are rapidly transforming.
Gen Z voices will play a central role, with figures like Zachery Dereniowski and Roshaun Diah leading discussions on viral culture, mental health, youth philanthropy and the responsibilities of online influence. Their sessions will question what new frameworks and safeguards are needed in an era where young creators increasingly act as educators and cultural interpreters for massive audiences.
The summit will also offer an extensive workshop programme designed to provide practical training for creatives, executives and emerging talent. Led by experts such as Brady Forrest, Karim El Shenawy, Mariam Naoum, the 2WEI composers, Canva strategists and prominent regional creators, the workshops will translate strategic insights into hands-on skills in filmmaking, storytelling, digital content creation, music production, platform strategy and mobile journalism.
At the heart of the event is the BRIDGE Marketplace, a dynamic space for networking, investment and deal-making. Studios, platforms, investors, creators and brands will come together to forge new partnerships, negotiate agreements and sign MoUs that could drive future industry growth. Designed to spark collaboration and commercial opportunity, the Marketplace embodies the summit’s core mission — to connect people and ideas that might never intersect elsewhere, shaping the next phase of the global content ecosystem.
