Advanced Media held an exclusive RED Digital Cinema workshop, PRECISION IN MOTION: Mastering the RED V-RAPTOR XE, on November 11, 2025, at the Meydan Hotel in Nad Al Sheba, bringing together more than 40 filmmakers, cinematographers and industry professionals for an immersive hands-on experience.
The session was led by RED instructor Nikolai Pigarev, who took participants through the brand’s camera evolution—from RED ONE, its first digital cinema camera, to the state-of-the-art V-RAPTOR XE. The V-RAPTOR XE, built on the V-RAPTOR [X] platform, delivers RED’s flagship large-format global shutter sensor performance with capabilities including R3D recording at 8K VV 60P, 4K 120P and 2K 240P, tailored for modern filmmaking demands.
The workshop concluded with a live demonstration at the Meydan Hotel’s horse-riding court, allowing participants to test RED’s full camera lineup in dynamic shooting environments.
