AEQ has appointed Iván Olmeda as CEO, succeeding Rogelio de la Fuente who has served as the head of the Company for 35 years. AEQ, a manufacturer of audio and communications solutions for the broadcast industry, is headquartered in the Technology Park of Leganés, Madrid, Spain, with offices in the USA, México and Portugal.
Ivan Olmeda, who until now has been responsible for the company’s business development division, has more than 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry. He joined the AEQ management team in 2014 after the merger of Kroma Telecom, where he held the position of Managing Director.
Commenting on the appointment, Rogelio de la Fuente, who will remain as advisor to the new CEO until the end of 2018 and will remain linked to the company as a member of the Board, said: “It is a good decision and an important step for the growth of the company. We are convinced that we leave AEQ in good hands and with great expectations for the future.”

AEQ, has since its foundation in 1979, been a manufacturer in the field of audio and communications for the broadcast industry. When the company absorbed Kroma Telecom in 2014, it expanded its intercom and video processing solutions.
