Building on a series of successful collaborations, from AppGallery and HarmonyOS to integrating the Anghami app into Huawei’s HMS for Car, both brands continue to reinvent how audiences experience music across every device.
Anghami and Huawei have celebrated five years of collaboration, marking a milestone partnership that has reshaped how users across the Middle East and Africa experience music. What began with Anghami’s inclusion on Huawei’s AppGallery has evolved into a fully integrated, cross-device music ecosystem spanning smartphones, wearables and connected cars.
The partnership’s evolution began in 2021 with the launch of Anghami’s HarmonyOS smartwatch app—one of the region’s first integrations between a music streaming service and a smartwatch. The app enabled users to manage playback and discover new music directly from their wrists, offering a seamless and personalised experience.
Building on that success, Anghami deepened its collaboration with Huawei earlier this year by integrating its app into vehicles equipped with Huawei’s HMS for Car. This innovation allows drivers to access Anghami’s full music experience directly from their car dashboards, enhancing entertainment on the go. The streaming platform also launched an upgraded version of its app for the new Huawei WATCH 5, powered by HarmonyOS 5, further expanding accessibility across connected devices.
