Arabsat will showcase the capabilities and service offerings of its soon-to-be-launched satellite Badr-7 at IBC.
Eng. Khalid Bin Ahmed Balkheyour, President & CEO of Arabsat, stated: Arabsat will present the services of its state-of-the-art satellite Badr-7, scheduled to be launched by the end of 2015. We will also showcase our three new planned satellites, the contracts for which were signed earlier this year.
He added: The first satellite is the Hellsat-3 at orbital position 39° East. The second satellite is the Hellas-Sat-4/SaudiGeoSat-1, a joint satellite with King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology that will also operate at the orbital position 39° East. The third satellite is 6-A at Arabsat orbital position 30.5° East, which will reinforce Arabsats position as the leading satellite provider in the Arab and African markets as well as in regions in the MENA neighborhood.
