ARET is known for creating OB units that feature layouts that maximises the internal space, which allows interoperability between different production areas.
Italian systems integrator and OB specialist ARET Audio & Video Engineering will showcase details of the latest OB vans and studio projects it has delivered in both the MENA region, as well as in the global market.
ARET recently delivered a 9m, 4K-UHD OB production unit to Qatar Cultural and Heritage Event Center. The unit uses full 12G SDI technology.
This OB unit features a layout that maximizes the internal space, allowing interoperability between the different production areas: the main production area (comprising a monitor wall and a replay and character generator station), the audio room with its custom acoustic insulation, and the engineering and camera control area that enables control of up to eight fibre plus two wireless cameras.
Each area, including the racks, has a completely redundant air conditioning system, in order to endure the tough weather conditions of the area and quickly operate under any circumstance. In addition, as per ARET standards, the OB van has an automatic levelling and stabilisation system that can be operated through remote control, and a logic system for controlling mechanical movements and transport conditions.
A spokesperson from the company said: “The MENA market is very important for ARET, because our company is very active all over the Middle East and African region. Our goal at CABSAT is to keep the relationship with old customers, as well as meeting new potential ones. We aim to build strong and long-term business relationships and partnerships in the region.”
