The two-day customer and partner event in Lebanon focused on showcasing Avid's broadcast, post production and graphics solutions.
Avid, a media technology provider for the creation, distribution and monetisation of media assets for global media organisations, enterprise users and individual creative professionals, conducted a two-day customer and partner event in Lebanon in November. The event focused on showcasing Avid’s broadcast, post production and graphics solutions.
The company informed the attendees who numbered more than 40 about the products and solutions launched at IBC 2017. Participants represented various broadcast, post production companies and resellers and systems integrators from both Lebanon and other countries across the Middle East.
About the two-day event a company spokesperson said: “Among the solutions showcased was Avid MediaCentral that gives newsrooms, post facilities, and creative teams of all sizes the power to create and deliver more content in shorter time frames.”
The other Avid solutions presented at the event included:
- The broadcast workflow – the new MediaCentral platform offerings announced for asset, production and newsroom management, MediaCentral | Cloud UX, as well as the Avid solutions for social media distribution, ingesting, playout, video servers and the Avid Nexis Shared Storage.
- The post production workflow demonstrated the latest features in Media Composer as well as the Avid Nexis Pro and the new DNxIV.
- Maestro Graphics Platform was presented including Avid solutions for branding, designing, sports and news. Also demonstrated was the Avid display control.
