Bahrain’s Information Affairs Authority (IAA) has signed an agreement with satellite operator Noorsat to include the state broadcaster’s bouquet on its satellite from June 2012.
IAA president Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa stated that the objective of including the bouquet on Noorsat is to increase Bahrain TV’s visibility while also supporting the efforts of the satellite operator, which is based in Bahrain.
Shaikh Fawaz said the IAA will continue implementing its plans and programmes to provide special services to its viewers.
Noorsat carries more than 200 TV and radio channels to viewers in East Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Europe.
