The Information Affairs Ministry has launched a new electronic platform called Bahrain TV and Radio for the broadcasting of radio and TV channels in the region.
The platform provides live broadcasting of all Bahrain TV channels and radio stations, in addition to archival radio and television content materials which can be accessed by users any time.
While inaugurating the platform’s application, Information Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary, Abdulrahman Mohammed Bahar, said that such a platform aims to reach users of smart devices.
Bahar asserted that the launch of such a platform reflects the continuity of the development and modernisation process, despite the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A team from the General Directorate of Technical Affairs and the General Directorate of Radio and Television will be in charge of the platform, Bahar confirmed.
