BBH broadcasts FAI Mondial Dubai 2012 World Parachuting Championships

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, Best Broadcast Hire (BBH) is the host broadcasters for the FAI Mondial Dubai 2012 World Parachuting Championships. Coinciding with the UAE National Day celebrations this year, the event is held from 28^th November – 9^th December.

During the 12-day event, BBH through their expertise are covering every aspect of the event. With over 8 full HD cameras ranging from a stedicam with a wireless, a box camera Sony HD 100 that is positioned on Marriot Tower, to cameras even on choppers and on the ground near the landings, BBH will give viewers a complete feel and experience of the skydives. There are even remote cameras in locations where people are not allowed.

BHH has also come equipped with their own custom made OB vans where they are editing and providing for the screens. The highlight of the equipment being used is the HD EVS XT3, a hard disk drive array that allows for instant replay without having to stop what’s currently recording. There is also an option for the slow motion system for replay.

Dubai TV will be taking BBH’s signals to broadcast on their channel.

800 parachutists from over 55 countries are participating in the competitions that include formation skydiving, accurate landing, canopy piloting, free fall flying free style and para skiing, for the first time in the Middle East.

The event is held at the SkyDive Dubai location in Dubai Marina. Skydive Dubai sits on a peninsula near Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree. The sparkling turquoise Persian Gulf waters add to making the views breathtaking.
