Blackmagic Design roadshow in Dubai, DaVinci roadshow Dubai, BroadcastPro Middle East
BroadcastPro Middle East has learnt that Blackmagic Design will showcase its DaVinci Resolve non-linear colour correction system at a “DaVinci Roadshow” on November 25, 2010 at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Dubai Media City, in association with Blackmagic distributor, MediaCast.
Speaking about the roadshow, Simon Westland, director of sales, Blackmagic Design EMEA said: "Response to DaVinci Resolve has been very exciting, with colorists, editors and independent filmmakers amazed by the power and creative opportunities the product offers. There is a great energy for post-production across the Middle East and Dubai is one of the centres for this. By bringing Resolve to Dubai, we’re giving this community the opportunity to come and see the product for the first time."
Attendees can see DaVinci Resolve on Mac and meet colourists, product professionals and local resellers. The day will consist of an hour-long presentation to introduce DaVinci Resolve features and demonstrate extensive resolution and file support to show how DaVinci Resolve can easily be used in a post-production workflow. Following the presentation, there will be one-to-one demonstration opportunities.
Blackmagic’s DaVinci Resolve has been used to grade several feature films, television commercials, documentaries, episodic television production and music videos. Box-office hits such as Avatar, Quantum of Solace, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation and Transformers have been graded with Resolve.
The workshop is free to industry professionals.
