For its 30th anniversary edition, CABSAT boasts a lineup of speakers for its conference events, including the Content Congress and SATExpo Summit.
CABSAT 2024, the Middle East’s premier event for content, broadcast, satellite, media, and entertainment industries, has returned for a second day with a focus on showcasing innovative solutions, technologies, and ideas that are reshaping the media landscape. Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event, running until May 23, 2024, received a special visit from ZHU Yonglei, Vice Minister of the National Radio and Television Administration of P.R.China (NRTA).
Expected to draw more than 18,000 visitors across three days, including engineers, system integrators, broadcasters, content buyers, sellers, producers, and distributors, CABSAT 2024 offers extensive insights into the future of media and entertainment through engaging discussions on industry developments and opportunities.

These discussions provide attendees with valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and solutions transforming the media and entertainment sector.
On day two, the SATExpo Summit brought together regional and global satellite and space technology influencers for discussions on global launch and manufacturing markets, future trends, business strategies, and the impact of AI. Key speakers included industry leaders from Yahsat, Comtech, QuadSat, AvL Technologies, and Deloitte Consulting, among others.
Across day two at the CABSAT 2024, the SATExpo Summit witnessed resounding success, gathering regional and global satellite and space technology influencers, including inventors, prominent leaders, engineers, government officials, and a wide range of solution providers. The summit also featured discussions on the global launch and manufacturing markets, future trends, and trajectories, as well as business strategies of leading companies, particularly in light of the emergence of AI.

The Content Congress continued to gather professionals from the media, broadcast, and technology sectors to explore trends and ideas influencing content creation, connectivity, and monetisation. Participants gained insights into advancements in the media landscape, regional collaboration, and opportunities within the content creation economy.
Grass Valley announced a significant collaboration with Arabsat, providing its AMPP SaaS platform as the foundation for a new suite of broadcast transmission services. Based on Playout X, an AMPP-based SaaS solution, the services enable Arabsat customers to broadcast quality signals more flexibly and efficiently.
Additionally, CABSAT 2024 launched an exclusive Brand Ambassador programme, inviting business leaders to shape the media and entertainment landscape, foster high-level conversations, and drive opportunities in the MENA region. Ambassadors include global media executives, film directors, industry experts, and content specialists, contributing to the region’s prominence in the sector.
