Dubai-based pay-TV operator, has appointed Carmen Chen as the new CEO of the company. Chen, a board member and co-founder of MY-HD has taken over the new position to work towards raising the company’s profile and market share in the region.
On her appointment, Chen said: “We are determined to take MY-HD to the level that we sought since we started the company. I believe that the companys low cost module is the best in the region especially when slow economic growth affects customer purchasing power. One of the most important milestones was adding seven new premium channels from Fox Networks Group including National Geographic, Fox Rewayat and Nat Geo Wild. The best is yet to come within the coming few months when we will take our customers to a new world of DTH home entertainment.”
Established in 2012 and headquartered in Dubai Media City, My-HD is a Direct to Home (DTH) HD pay-TV platform for the MENA. Approved receivers and viewing cards are available in traditional shops as well as major hypermarkets and department stores in the region.
