Cartoon Network Arabic has launched the second edition of Creative Generation Competition 2013 to highlight the importance of safety among children and how they can incorporate it into their everyday life.
In 2012, Cartoon Network Arabic visited 82 schools and engaged with 62,000 students in KSA, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, gathering a total of 12,230 entries from children.
The channel is connecting with children across the region for the second time to encourage them to take part of the campaign and to enter the competition. Alongside the school activation in KSA, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar, the campaign will run online to give all children a chance to participate.
Our aim this year is to promote safety among children in the region and raise awareness on its importance in their day to day activities. Despite educational efforts, children still have a lot to learn about this topic and this is a great way to enlighten them in a creative and interactive way, said Jad Chababi, Marketing Manager for the Middle East and North Africa.
Creative Generation encourages children to learn about important lifestyle choices. The main aim of the competition is to inspire children from ages 4 to 12 to stimulate their imagination by creating a poster with a message related to Safety using Cartoon Network Arabic characters.
The competition will be judged based on three age brackets – 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 and 10 to 12.
