Two special outdoor screenings of the American biographical crime drama titled House of Gucci, directed by Ridley Scott, will take place on December 8 and 10. The film will keep running till December 30.
House of Gucci tells the tale of Patrizia Reggiani, played by Lady Gaga, an outsider from humble beginnings, who marries into the Gucci family. Her uninhibited determination sets off a reckless domino effect of betrayal, decadence, revenge and eventually murder.
Skies of Lebanon, by French-Lebanese director Cloé Mazlo will screen on Friday, December 10 at 7:00 PM.
The last screening will take place on December 11 at Alserkal Avenue of the Iranian documentary titled None of Your Business. The event is in partnership with Alserkal Arts Foundation. As part of the jubilee celebrations, the screening will be free.
None of Your Business is a documentary on the life and death of Ebrahim Monsefi directed by Kamran Heidari.
Ebrahim Monsefi, mostly known as Ebram, is a popular southern guitar player, singer, and poet in Iran. Although he passed away almost two decades ago, debates still abound about the cause of his death.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with producer Kaveh Farnam.
