The Saudi film 'Al Hamour' was screened on the opening night of the luxury cinema.
Cinépolis Cinemas celebrated the opening of its first luxury offering in Jeddah, and fourth location in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on January 18 at Al Masarah Square.
The ceremony was hosted by Alejandro Aguilera, CEO of Cinépolis Gulf, and attended by VIP guests, prominent dignitaries, social media celebrities, and local media representatives.
The Jeddah opening is part of Cinépolis Cinemas’ expansion plan to reach the largest possible number of viewers across Saudi Arabia, a goal in line with government plans to diversify entertainment content, as well as to provide new experiences to suit the tastes of different audiences.
Aguilera considers the launch of Cinépolis Cinemas in Saudi Arabia a step that reflects the new entertainment strategy in the Kingdom. He commented: “The opening of our first Luxury Cinema in Jeddah is an essential part of Cinépolis’ strategy to enhance the cinema experience in the Kingdom. With the opening of our new six screens cinema, we are pushing the envelope, creating an exclusive but comforting vibe, while offering a unique menu to our guests.”
The luxury offering from Cinépolis Cinemas will grant movie-goers in Jeddah an easy-to-access system from the lobby area to the six luxurious screens, featuring recliner seats with adjustable tables and a dedicated phone charging station per seat.
The new luxurious cinematic experience includes the brand’s Junior Auditorium, which features a floor-to-ceiling slide, ball pit, and play area. The auditorium also offers various seating options including the ultra-comfortable Double Bean Bag, the spacious loungers, or the reclining Standard.
Guests will enjoy the convenience of a full luxury cinemas gourmet menu and in-theatre waiter service available via a QR code.
