In early 2026, CNN Creators will adopt its permanent format as the first show to broadcast from CNN’s new state-of-the-art facility in Media City Qatar, Doha.
CNN has announced CNN Creators, a new multiplatform programming initiative that includes a weekly 30-minute show on CNN International. The show’s phased rollout begins on October 23, airing Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Initially titled CNN Creators – The Intro, the first phase will introduce a team of digital-native storytellers, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise across AI, technology, art, culture, sports and social trends. The creators will explore timely conversations shaping global culture and innovation.
In early 2026, the programme will evolve into CNN Creators in its full format, broadcasting from CNN’s new state-of-the-art studio at Media City Qatar in Doha. The purpose-built facility will feature collaborative workspaces designed for dynamic content creation. In addition to the TV show, CNN Creators will produce digital stories for CNN.com and the network’s social platforms.
The Doha-based team will be led by Andrew Potter, formerly a senior editorial producer at VICE. Joining him are Ivana Scatola, a multilingual digital producer with experience at BBC and France 24; Bijan Hosseini, known for his work on CNN International’s features; and Antoinette Radford, a former BBC journalist from CNN’s Digital Live News team. The lineup also includes producer Matias Grez from CNN Sport and veteran photojournalist Ben Foley, whose work spans Al Jazeera, VICE and The New York Times.
Meara Erdozain, SVP, CNN International Programming, said: “CNN Creators is unlike any show we have ever launched. This exciting new digital-forward initiative will reflect how our younger audiences are engaging with stories and will deliver compelling, entertaining content in a multitude of ways. It will focus on news-adjacent topics and stories that feel real, relevant, and relatable. We’ve assembled a fantastic team of digital-native journalists who will be identifying, debating and telling those stories with curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.”
