WorldCast Systems has announced the sale of two fully equipped Ecreso 3000W FM transmitters to a leading broadcaster in the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).
The deal was brokered by French broadcast dealer, Eurocom Broadcast to replace the stations existing FM transmitter system and extend the reach of the broadcaster by stepping up the power level from 100W to 3kW.
Each Ecreso FM 3000W comprises a fully digital exciter, two 1500W amplifiers and an Ecreso FM Coupler. This combination delivers exceptional audio quality and reliability, efficiency of up to 70% and a range of innovative features such as remote analysis and control via TCP/IP, an advanced measurement interface and expert maintenance reporting.
The system also offers several built-in broadcast tools such as stereo encoder, RDS encoder, audio back-up and FM limiter. The modular system is centrally managed by the Ecreso exciter which monitors and establishes the total output power, automatically compensating for any incidence of RF power loss.
Shipped in June 2014, WorldCast Systems supplied the new FM Transmission systems in fully customised and integrated racks that also included a filter cavity and antennas.
