Discovery has announced a string of specially crafted programmes for its viewers during the month of Ramadan.
Discovery Middle East will broadcast Mysteries Of The Deep from May 12 at 11:40 pm local time. In this series, Jeremy Wade searches the globe for the most iconic and baffling underwater mysteries known to science, from ships disappearing without trace, to lost treasure and inexplicable undersea anomalies.
Wheeler Dealers will air from May 17 at 10:00 pm local time. The show features car dealer Mike Brewer and multi-talented mechanic Ant Anstead find and restore iconic cars to later sell for a profit at their LA-based shop.
Deadliest Catch will be aired from May 25 which will focus on Alaskan crab fisherman and their experiences.
Fatafeat Middle East features cooking shows Matbakh Manal Alalem daily during Ramadan at 1:00 pm local time, Shu Biyheb Al Orf on Monday and Wednesday at 1:55pm local time and Bil Afya Maa Hayat on Tuesday-Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:50 pm local time.
DKIDS Middle East will show pre-school series Bubu And The Little Owls from May 10 at 10:55 local time. It follows the adventures of Bubu, a curious and energetic young owl who is always in a hurry to explore the world beyond her tree.
DMAX Middle East will broadcast A1: Highway Patrol from May 3 at 8:29 pm local time. This series follows the men and women working 24 hours a day to keep the traffic moving and public safe on Britain’s A1 motorway.
HGTV Middle East will feature 100 Day Dream Home from May 15 at 9:45 pm local time. Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt are a husband-and-wife team from Tampa, Florida, who make dream homes come true in just 100 days or less.
Celebrity IOU will be shown from May 23, featuring the unsung heroes who have helped some of today’s biggest names achieve their success and stay sane along the way.
Investigation Discovery will air Best Of ID from May 11, showcasing ID’s top-rating series and one-off documentaries. The line-up includes Ted Bundy: Mind Of A Monster, In Evil Lives Here suspicious and Aaron Hernandez: An ID Murder Mystery.
TLC Middle East will feature Little People, Big World from May 4 at 10:00 pm local time. Also in the lineup is My Big Fat Fabulous Life which will air from May 27 at 10:00 pm.
