Since the inauguration of the Sound Stages in September 2013, two internationally-renowned productions have been filmed within the Stages including MasterChef Arabia, the first Arab MasterChef format with the largest MasterChef set, and The Cube, a leading international game show currently being aired on Dubai TV. Regional giant MBC also occupies one of the Sound Stages, from which O3 productions have produced cutting-edge content using their green screen and visual backlot technology.

This is testament to Dubais standing as a leading player in the production industry.
“MIPTV is a fantastic platform through which Dubais thriving and rich film industry can be presented to a key global audience. This years Festival comes at an exciting time for Dubais film industry, which has already seen the production of a number of significant projects in 2013 such as MasterChef Arabia and the hotly anticipated Bollywood film Welcome Back – with more to be announced shortly – as well as the completion of two brand new sound stages at Dubai Studio City. This maturation of Dubais film industry strengthens its position as a leading media hub and sets the tone for an exciting four days of discussions to be held during the Festival.
