The festival will honour Yousra along with British director Guy Ritchie and Shah Rukh Khan for their talents and contribution to the film Industry.
Egyptian cinema icon Yousra will receive Gold Yusr Honorary Awards at the opening ceremony of the Red Sea International Film Festivals’ second edition in Jeddah.
Along with acclaimed British director Guy Ritchie and Indian actor and producer Shah Rukh Khan, the festival will honour the three outstanding talents to recognise their exceptional contribution to the film industry.
The festival is set to run from 1-10 December and will present 131 feature films and shorts from 61 countries in 41 languages from both established and emerging talent.
Yousra is one of the most recognisable names in the region and has been gracing the silver screen for more than 50 years. Since the 1970s, she has starred in some of the most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema, appearing in more than 100 films. Her roles in films and TV series are trailblazing and continue to influence and inspire generations to this day.
