The 69th edition of the festival will take place in June with precautionary measures decided by the Ministry of Health and the cabinet.
Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema Festival has announced that the 69th edition of the event will take place from June 11-18, 2021.
The annual festival is headed by Father Botros Daniel with the help of Egyptian producer Magdy Samy and Michael Maher.
The film festival will present the Film Leadership Award to actors Hassan Youssef, Hala Fakher, Hussein Fahmy and Suheir Al Morshedy, while the Artistic Creativity Award is set to go to veteran Egyptian musicians Omar Khairat and singer Mohamed Mounir.
So far, five films including Yom w Leila, Sandouk El Donia, B Elm Elwesoul, Saheb El Makam and Curfew have been announced for the screening.
