El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) has announced that it is now accepting film submissions for its seventh edition. The submission window officially opens today, April 15, 2024, and will remain accessible until July 15, 2024.
Scheduled against the backdrop of El Gouna, the seventh edition of the El Gouna Film Festival is slated to take place from October 24 to November 1, 2024. Filmmakers eager to participate can access the entry form and detailed submission guidelines on the festival’s official website.
An array of opportunities awaits the selected films, which will compete for the El Gouna Star awards and a substantial cash prize of $234,000. These competitions span across the Feature Narrative, Feature Documentary, and Short Film categories. Additionally, films delving into humanitarian themes stand a chance to contend for the Cinema for Humanity Audience Award, while those addressing environmental concerns can vie for the El Gouna Green Star Award.
