The 10th edition of the Emirati Media Forum, held under the patronage and in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, alongside H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), spotlighted the growing influence of film and e-gaming in shaping the future of media.
The session, titled The Impact of Film and E-Gaming on the Future of Media, featured Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, and Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), with Abdullatif Alsayegh, CEO of Alsayegh Media, serving as moderator.
Discussions underscored how cinema and e-gaming are emerging as powerful drivers of the creative economy, presenting new avenues for investment and innovation while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a regional hub for media and entertainment. Belhoul highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping future media strategies, while Kazim outlined Dubai’s efforts to strengthen its global presence by promoting the city through film and gaming initiatives.
Speakers agreed that Dubai is committed to developing an integrated, future-ready media ecosystem that nurtures creativity, safeguards cultural identity, and aligns with the UAE’s vision to lead globally in the creative economy.
