Etisalat has entered into a partnership with Abu Dhabi International Environment Film Festival (ADIEFF), a platform for artistic dialogue on the environment and to raise public awareness on environmental issues in UAE and the Middle East.

Etisalat has also been active in creating a sustainable environment and reducing carbon footprint. ADIEFF is a perfect platform promoting art as well as raising relevant environment issues and creating a public understanding on relevant topics. We are proud to be associated with an event which will see attendance of experts from the Middle East as well as global film markets. The competition at the festival is also an opportunity for local talent to reach out to a worldwide audience.”
Etisalat has an ongoing commitment to the environment especially energy consumption. The corporation has partnered with Pacific Control in launching “The Emirates Energy Star” project which aims to reduce the carbon footprint levels in the UAE. The project has witnessed a large number of government entities signing up for the initiative. The unique project is being rolled out across the country under the patronage of the Ministry of Water and Environment, Government of UAE.
The festival will promote public understanding of the environment through animated pictures as well as a variety of long and short films mainly features, documentary and animation from around the world. Participants in the festival will take part across 12 major activities over the period of 6 days with the presence of 500 members focused on environment.
