The series will be broadcast on Saran Media Group’s S Sport and S Sport2 channels as well as via the S Sport Plus digital platform.
Electric off-road motorsport series Extreme E has announced a new broadcast deal with Saran Media Group that will see the championship shown live in Turkey.
The inaugural season of Extreme E next year will see electric SUVs racing wheel-to-wheel in some of the most remote environments on earth, from the Arctic to the Amazon Rainforest, in a five-race global odyssey.
All of the race locations have been severely damaged or affected by either climate change or human influences. Extreme E’s objective is to highlight the challenges of these diverse ecosystems while raising awareness, driving sustainability and inspiring action through motorsport.
Season one will get underway in early 2021, and all of the X Prixs will be broadcast in Turkey on Saran Media Group’s S Sport and S Sport2 channels as well as via the S Sport Plus digital platform.
In addition to live race coverage, the agreement includes broadcast rights for repeat, catch-up and highlights shows and the full Extreme E documentary series.
S Sport is also available on the Digiturk, D-Smart, TiviBu, Turkcell TV+, VodafoneTV and KabloTV digital platforms.
Commenting on the partnership, Ali Russell, Chief Marketing Officer at Extreme E, said: “We are delighted to announce Extreme E’s latest broadcast partnership with Saran Media Group.
