The TV channel is available on the Freeview channel 271 via Channelbox, which caters to international communities living in the UK.
The first Kurdish language TV channel Rudaw has been launched in the UK and is available on the Freeview channel 271 via the Channelbox platform. The new channel delivers news from Iraqi Kurdistan and the Middle East.
Channelbox is a multi-channel TV service that offers a selection of free-to-air TV channels, delivered to Freeview via the public Internet. The service caters to international communities living in the UK bringing the news in French, Greek and now in Kurdish languages.
The current Channelbox line-up includes France24, Hellenic TV, Rudaw, Retro Movies and Law & Crime. More channels will be announced in January 2020.
