The acquisition is expected to increase GatesAirs range of transmission offerings and strengthen its presence in Europe.
GatesAir is bringing ONEtastic under its banner, announcing that it has acquired the Italian-based company that provides television and digital radio transmission systems.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Brescia, Italy, ONEtastic develops television, digital radio and RF systems for broadcast, telecom, scientific and government verticals.
The company’s work with high-efficiency, low-power TV and DAB radio transmitters is expected to complement GatesAirs range of transmission offerings. It will also strengthen GatesAirs presence in Europe.

GatesAir will retain the entire ONEtastic staff and its Brescia facility, which will continue operations as GatesAir. Longtime ONEtastic CEO Luca Saleri will remain in a leadership role as General Manager of GatesAir.
ONEtastic founder Carlo Bombelli will also be a key contributor to the GatesAir team moving forward. Bombelli launched ONEtastic following his years as founder of Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies, a former supplier of digital broadcasting solutions in Italy. Bombelli has authored several patents through his innovations at ONEtastic, and is the primary force behind the companys ingenious transmitter designs.
