Olivier joins Hoppr from Synamedia, Cisco and Canal+, bringing decades of experience in video technology, broadcast, telecom and media partnerships.
Hoppr, a specialist in addressable TV and targeted advertising technology, has appointed Olivier B as its new Chief Sales Officer with immediate effect, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates international growth.
Olivier B joins Hoppr with decades of experience spanning video technology, broadcasting, telecommunications and global media partnerships, having previously held senior roles at Synamedia, Cisco and Canal+. He has been working closely with Hoppr as a consultant since May 2025, gaining direct insight into the company’s platform, customer base and commercial potential as it scales worldwide.
In his new role, Olivier B will be responsible for shaping and executing Hoppr’s global commercial strategy, overseeing sales operations, partnerships and revenue growth. His appointment comes as the company expands its footprint across connected TV and programmatic advertising markets, positioning its HopprTV platform to capitalise on shifting demand for addressable advertising solutions.
George Gelavis, Executive Chairman of Hoppr, commented: “We are at an inflection point in the television advertising industry and our HopprTV platform is uniquely positioned to lead that transformation. Olivier has already proven his impact and securing a leader of his calibre reflects both the strength of our platform and the scale of the opportunity ahead. His experience at Synamedia and deep understanding of the global video ecosystem make him the ideal leader to drive our commercial growth. I’m thrilled to welcome Olivier to the leadership team.”
Throughout his career, Olivier B has led complex engagements with major broadcasters, pay-TV operators and video service providers around the world. His background combines technical expertise with commercial leadership, a mix Hoppr believes will help align the needs of advertisers, broadcasters and network operators within its ecosystem.
Commenting on his appointment, Olivier B said: “Having worked closely with the team over the past several months, I’ve seen first-hand the momentum behind Hoppr and the value it delivers to operators and advertisers alike. The ability to deliver highly targeted, addressable advertising without compromising the viewer experience is exactly what the market demands. I look forward to working with George and the team as we scale Hoppr globally.”
The appointment follows a strong year for Hoppr in 2025, during which the company ended the year with 35m screens under contract. This growth was supported by partnerships with operators including StarHub and Ooredoo Qatar, with the company continuing to build a strong commercial pipeline and further announcements expected in 2026.
Members of Hoppr’s leadership team, including Bastard, are attending CES in Las Vegas this week as the company continues to engage with partners and customers on the global stage.
