MAD Distribution is handling the movie’s sales in the Arab-speaking region.
Jordanian filmmaker Firas Al-Taybeh’s film The Woodland is set to be featured at the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam, running until June 2 in the Netherlands.
As part of the festival’s Arab Shorts I Programme, this movie will be screened on June 1 at 12 pm. Al-Taybeh himself will attend the event and participate in a Q&A session about the film.
The Woodland follows two estranged brothers who find themselves in the untamed wilderness as they embark on a journey to bury their father. Reunited in the wake of tragedy after years of tense separation, the two brothers are at a crossroads, needing to confront their shared past before making a pivotal decision.

Firas Al-Taybeh is a Jordanian filmmaker and actor who initially pursued his passion for the arts at Jordan University before honing his skills in filmmaking at the prestigious Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts.
