Production is currently underway in Doha, with filming set to take place at various stunning locations across Qatar.
Qatar-based Katara Studios has announced the start of production of its newest original production, Sari & Amira. Set against the fictional backdrop of Wadi Sakheema, this fantasy epic film follows the thrilling journey of bandits Amira and Sari as they search for a legendary treasure, encountering mythical beasts and navigating their complex relationship.
The film is led by Hala Al Turk as Amira and Alex Uloom as Sari. The ensemble cast also includes Abdelmohsen Al Nemr, Adwa Fahad, Saad Al Naimi, Fayez Kazak, Ehab Abdel Wahed, Arfa AbdelRasoul, Nada Tawheed, and Ger Duany. Under the direction of AJ Al Thani, the film promises to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience with cutting-edge production values and stunning visuals that transport audiences to a world of adventure. Sari & Amira’s executive producers are Ahmed Al Baker, Luca Bercovici, and Mahmoud Hamaky.
