Morocco-based Maroc Telecom has launched a new OTT platform that is created, operated and managed by Molotov Solutions.
MT TV (La télé) consists of three packages of local and international linear channels, as well as premium SVOD offers such as Starz Arabia, OSN, PlayVOD. Maroc Telecom is also using payment technology from Digital Virgo, Molotov Solutions’ preferred partner.
Jean-David Blanc, Founder and CEO at Molotov, said: “The momentum around Molotov Solutions and the number of projects we are being asked to work on, shows that the industry as a whole has begun the shift to streaming, which requires resources, technical know-how and an organic understanding of these markets.”
The Moroccan operator is using the Molotov package to aggregate and distribute every linear, replay and VOD content, EPG, start-over, NPVR, accessibility, subtitles, search, follow, share, HD, UHD, download-to-go and virtual reality. There’s also localisation in the Arabic language.
The new OTT platform is available on iOS, Android, web browser, Chromecast, Android TV and Apple TV.
