Melvin Saldanha has been promoted from Director of Engineering to VP of Engineering – MIS (Management of Information Systems) at Ten Sports Dubai, BroadcastPro ME has learnt.
Saldanha will be involved in core decision making capacities related to the broadcast technology vision and Information Technology (IT) management of Ten Sports (Taj Television Ltd).
He will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of both the engineering and IT domains at Ten Sports working closely with the team to help deliver expected strategic benefits to the business.
In his new role, he will also be expected to ensure that major technology based initiatives are delivered on time and within budget to meet the company’s business strategy.
