Dubai-based production house Muddville has recently acquired two RED EPIC cameras.
Jac Mulder, director of Muddville told BroadcastPro ME that the new cameras would mean: 60% increase in quality on anything digital.
The cameras were sent to him after he put in an application to RED EPIC in the US.
The (RED EPIC) website stated that only a select few would get this camera for experimental purposes only, not everybody could get them. I sent them my showreel and I got my approval after one full day, points out Mulder.
Mulder has not shot any projects on the cameras yet but has been experimenting with the camera.
Mulder stated: The 5k resolution means that the (image) quality is unsurpassed and beautiful, with the HDRX it is like Christmas, Easter and a birthday combined.
The cameras will be used on a forthcoming Muddville project in the near future.
