While the slate features the return of popular titles, release dates for the films have yet to be confirmed.
Netflix has announced its Arabic-language content line-up for 2026, unveiling a diverse slate that blends returning reality franchises with new scripted series and original feature films. Spanning genres including drama, romance, thriller, horror and unscripted entertainment, the announcement underscores the platform’s continued investment in regional storytelling and locally rooted narratives.
The upcoming slate includes the return of popular titles such as the Emmy-nominated Love Is Blind, Habibi, comedy franchise Alkhallat+ and reality series Dubai Bling. While several projects have been confirmed, release dates for most of the films and series have yet to be revealed.
Among the highlights is From The Ashes: The Pit, a sequel to From the Ashes, one of Netflix’s most internationally successful Arabic-language releases. The film follows three former friends who are forced to confront their shared past when they become trapped in a pit following a schoolyard collapse. Starring Moudi Abdullah, Aseel Morya, Aseel Seraj and Wafa Al Wafi, the story explores themes of guilt, fractured relationships and unresolved trauma as tensions rise under pressure. The film is scheduled for release on January 22.
The Alkhallat franchise will return in a new episodic format with AlKhallat+ Season 1, marking a shift from feature-length storytelling to standalone episodes. Set in the desert, each episode features a self-contained story with a rotating cast and introduces several first-time directors, blending dark humour with social satire.
Netflix has also announced Chasing Shadows, a crime drama series built around a tense pursuit between a seasoned con artist and a relentless detective. The series stars Abdullah El Seif, Ali Kakooli, Fay Fouad and Shereen Reda, and centres on a psychological battle that unfolds over the course of the investigation.
The regional version of Netflix’s global dating experiment will return with Love Is Blind, Habibi Season 2. Following the success of its debut season and its Emmy nomination, the series once again explores whether emotional connections formed without physical sight can survive cultural norms and real-life challenges.
In the feature film category, Love in Slow Motion will bring romantic comedy to the slate. Starring Nour Alghandour and Ali Kakooli, the film follows a woman who begins to question her own relationships after her best friend unexpectedly announces her engagement. Produced by Eagle Films, the project marks another Netflix collaboration for Alghandour following the success of Honeymoonish.
The platform is also expanding into psychological horror with Obsess, a series starring Yagoub Alfarhan and Haya Abdel Salam. The story centres on a man who returns home and is forced to confront buried memories, as the boundary between reality and inner torment begins to dissolve.
Reality television will remain a key part of Netflix’s Arabic offering with the return of Dubai Bling for its fourth season. Set against the backdrop of Dubai’s high-society scene, the new season will feature familiar faces alongside evolving rivalries and alliances. While previous episodes introduced new cast members, Netflix has not yet announced additions for the upcoming season.
With this 2026 slate, Netflix continues to deepen its commitment to Arabic-language content, expanding its range of genres and formats while reinforcing the global reach of stories rooted in the region.
