The company will showcase major archive transfer technology project in the Middle East.
AV digitising and archiving specialist NOA GmbH will participate in the 24th edition of the ASBU Radio & TV Festival & Convention, held in collaboration with Tunisia’s Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The event will take place from June 26 to 29 in Tunis.
On June 26, during the pre-festival technical day, Wigdan Abdelrahman Nassr, Key Account & Project Manager at NOA, will present a detailed case study on the digitisation project of Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADM). This presentation will provide an in-depth look at how NOA successfully managed the delivery and installation of a comprehensive audio and video archive workflow system for the UAE-based public service broadcaster and media company, covering operations in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The project reportedly represents the largest Archive Transfer Technology installation in the Middle East, involving the digitisation of the organisation’s entire national radio and television archive, including 137,000 audio carriers and 339,000 hours of video content.
Jean-Christophe Kummer, Managing Partner of NOA, said: “We are thrilled to present our work on modernising archiving processes to set a new benchmark that encompasses all business aspects, including logistics and multi-site, multi-platform broadcast infrastructure.”
