Season-ending football showcase complements exclusive access via TOD to beIN Sports and entertainment channels on users’ preferred devices or smart TVs for USD 18.
TOD, beIN Media Group’s streaming platform, announced at a press conference in Dubai yesterday that the UEFA Champions League final clash between English Premier League champions Manchester City and three-time champions Inter Milan of Serie A, Italy, on June 10 will be streamed in the UAE exclusively on its platform. The content will be available in 4K across Hisense and LG smart TV sets. Previously, it was only available on Samsung.
On June 1, UAE telco Etisalat by e& announced that the beIN channels will no longer be available on its elife platform and will refund AED 199 ($54.18) to each customer each month for the duration for which they had booked the beIN package. Yesterday, beIN released a statement announcing a special summer offer of 54% off on its sports package with special incentives for those booking earlier. In the meantime, the TOD team stated that for $18, its entire entertainment and the beIN sports portfolio will be available on its platform for UAE fans.
TOD also reported that its subscription numbers in the UAE have spiked since the beginning of the month. It stated that the most streamed matches on TOD in the UAE this season have all featured Abu Dhabi-owned Manchester Ci), with UEFA Champions League clashes against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and the English Premier League title face-off against Arsenal making the top three.
The June 10 match will see the Champions League final action, with Pep Guardiola’s side face Inter Milan at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium. This will be streamed in 4K.

He added that the streaming platform will prioritise its sports content for 4K streaming.

TOD is available across the UAE on iOS and Android devices, including most of the leading smart TVs such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, and Hisense.
