The deadline for submissions is August 21, 2023.
The Red Sea Film Festival Foundation has announced the opening of the fourth cycle of the Red Sea Fund on August 6.
Filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, and Africa are invited to submit their post-production-ready film projects by August 21.
The fund offers financial support for films in every stage of development and production. This year’s Production Cycle 3 received more than 300 submissions, a significant increase compared to previous years, while eight films received grants in this year’s Post-Production Cycle 1.
Since its inception, the Red Sea Fund has been an ardent supporter of independent and emerging filmmakers, with its funding cycles proving highly successful in its mission to foster innovative storytelling.
Speaking about the fourth cycle, Emad Eskander, Head of the Red Sea Fund, said: “Films are made in the editing rooms, and we’re thrilled to announce the opening of Post-Production Cycle 4. We’ve seen such incredible talent and creativity in our previous cycles, and we can’t wait to see what filmmakers bring to the table this time around.”
