Filming is expected to continue over the coming weeks in preparation for the show’s Ramadan broadcast.
Roya Media Group has announced the start of production on a new season of its comedy series Watan A’ Watar, which is set to air during the upcoming Ramadan as part of Roya TV’s Comedy Hour programming.
The series returns with a renewed creative approach, led by well-known comedy performers Imad Farajin, Mohammad Al-Tayti and Samaher Salameh. Reuniting once again, the cast will present a series of comedic sketches that combine sharp humour with a lighthearted tone, drawing inspiration from Jordanian society and tackling everyday social themes in a relatable and entertaining manner.
According to Roya Media Group, the latest season will feature fresh ideas and upgraded production values, with an emphasis on polished, family-friendly comedy. The new episodes build on the show’s strong track record in previous Ramadan seasons, where it has become a staple of the channel’s diverse entertainment lineup.
Filming is scheduled to continue over the coming weeks ahead of the Ramadan broadcast. The broadcaster said the upcoming season aims to recapture the essence that made Watan A’ Watar a fan favourite, while presenting it in a contemporary format designed to connect with modern audiences.
Roya Media Group also reiterated its commitment to developing high-quality local programming that contributes to the growth of Jordan’s comedy and drama sector, while authentically reflecting the voices, stories and spirit of the local community.
