Through this MoU, ADH and du are setting the framework for a vital digital bridge that will connect the Gulf, Levant, Asia and Europe through resilient, low-latency corridors.

Du, the UAEs digital and ICT provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aqaba Digital Hub (ADH), Jordans carrier-neutral, Tier III-certified data centre, to establish a strategic presence for du within ADHs open-access ecosystem in Aqaba.
The partnership aims to create a vital digital bridge connecting the Gulf, Levant, Asia and Europe through robust, low-latency corridors. By combining their infrastructure and expertise, du and ADH seek to strengthen regional digital pathways, enhance network resilience, and offer diversified connectivity solutions to carriers, enterprises and institutions across multiple continents.
Under the agreement, ADH will serve as the anchor point on the western front through its open-access Cable Landing Station in Aqaba, while du will extend the eastern gateways via its two submarine cable landing stations connecting to Asia. This alignment will provide customers with alternative, high-capacity routes beyond traditional legacy corridors, reducing latency and boosting network redundancy and reliability.
The collaboration represents a major step toward building a more interconnected and future-ready digital landscape for the Middle East. It also highlights growing regional cooperation between leading technology providers dedicated to expanding and securing cross-border digital infrastructure.
Eyad Abu Khorma, Founder and CEO of Aqaba Digital Hub, said: “We are pleased to sign this MoU with du. This understanding strengthens our vision of ADH as a neutral and open gateway, positioning Jordan at the heart of tomorrows digital routes. Together, we are setting the foundations for resilient pathways that will connect continents and drive the next phase of regional digital growth.”
The partnership further reinforces ADHs open-access model, combining its carrier-neutral infrastructure with dus extensive regional reach and international backbone. This synergy is expected to set new standards for digital resilience and accelerate the evolution of regional connectivity.
Saleem AlBlooshi, Chief Technology Officer at du, added: “Our strategic partnership with Aqaba Digital Hub represents a significant milestone in our mission to build the digital infrastructure that will power the region’s future. This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering innovative, resilient digital solutions that transcend borders. We aim to create unprecedented connectivity options that will benefit carriers, enterprises, and institutions across the Gulf, Levant, Asia, and Europe by leveraging our extensive international backbone and Asian gateway capabilities with ADH’s world-class neutral infrastructure. “
Through this partnership, du brings its international network and submarine cable infrastructure to the collaboration, reinforcing its role as a key enabler of digital transformation in the Middle East. The initiative aligns with dus broader strategy to expand its global reach, support the regions growing demand for high-performance connectivity, and shape the next generation of international digital corridors.
