Du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (EITC), has appointed Jasim Al Awadhi to head its ICT unit as the Chief ICT Officer. In his new role, Al Awadhi will play a pivotal role in supporting dus customers on their digital transformation journeys by providing comprehensive end-to-end solutions and services. He will also be tasked with developing ICT solutions to drive prosperity and growth in the UAE’s digital economy. Al Awadhi will collaborate closely with the ICT team to realise dus vision of becoming a purpose-driven, performance-focused, and customer-centric organization.

With over 20 years of experience in ICT, Al Awadhi brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Having joined du in 2007, he has showcased his leadership capabilities through various senior positions within the company. Before assuming his current role as Chief ICT Officer, Al Awadhi excelled as the Senior Vice President – Service Operations, overseeing critical operational functions. Additionally, he led strategic projects for some of dus most prominent clients as Head of Government & Key Accounts Segments, demonstrating his strategic acumen and client-focused approach.
