Under the agreement, MSTelcom will act as a distributor of Eutelsat's OneWeb services within Angola.

Eutelsat has entered into a new distribution agreement with MSTelcom, a subsidiary of the Sonangol Group and a telecommunications provider in Angola, to deliver its OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity services across vital industries such as oil and gas, maritime and fixed land operations. The partnership aims to enhance secure, high-performance communications in some of the country’s most remote and challenging locations.
Through the agreement, MSTelcom will serve as an authorised distributor of Eutelsat’s OneWeb services in Angola, extending LEO connectivity solutions to enterprise clients, public sector organisations and telecom operators. Eutelsat, currently the only licensed LEO services provider in the country, has an established presence in Angola, offering both broadcast and connectivity services. The collaboration builds on the company’s existing infrastructure, including a ground station and local Point-of-Presence (PoP), which support the rollout of OneWeb’s high-speed, low-latency connections across Angola and Central Africa.
Commenting on the deal, Philippe Baudrier, VP Africa for Eutelsat, said: “This agreement expands the reach of our LEO services in Angola and strengthens our work supporting the country’s connectivity needs. By joining forces with MSTelcom, we are enabling secure, resilient and high-performance connectivity for sectors that are critical to Angolas economic development.”
Felisberta de Jesus, CEO, MSTelcom, added: “Partnering with Eutelsat enables MSTelecom to provide next-generation connectivity solutions to our customers operating in demanding and remote environments. This agreement strengthens our mission to deliver reliable, high-quality communications that support Angolas industrial growth and digital development.”
