SWISSto12 appoints Fredrik Gustavsson as Chief Financial and Strategy Officer

SWISSto12 has named Fredrik Gustavsson as its new Chief Financial and Strategy Officer (CFSO), a key appointment aimed at accelerating the companys global growth and enhancing its strategic and financial operations. The announcement follows the recent addition of Steve Collar to the Board of Directors as Chairman, signaling a broader move to fortify the companys leadership amid rising momentum in the satellite industry.

Gustavsson brings extensive experience in strategy, finance, and corporate development, with a strong track record in delivering shareholder value and leading growth-focused initiatives across sectors such as satellite communications and transportation. His expertise includes corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and operational performance, making him a strategic asset for SWISSto12s continued expansion.

This role will focus on driving the companys strategic growth, financial excellence, and corporate development initiatives as SWISSto12 continues to strengthen its position within the satellite industry. This news follows the announcement of Steve Collar joining SWISSto12s Board of Directors as Chairman.

Prior to joining SWISSto12, Gustavsson held senior roles at global firms, including Inmarsat, where as Chief Strategy Officer, he shaped corporate strategy, led key M&A efforts, and was instrumental in the $7.3bn sale of the company to Viasat. His earlier career includes leadership positions at easyJet, Credit Suisse, Teneo, and McKinsey & Company, where he advised executive teams and boards on strategic and financial matters.

His career highlights include overseeing M&A transactions totalling more than $25bn, leading easyJets expansion strategy to boost profitability, and driving performance initiatives that generated over $500m in annual profit improvements.
