This year marked the launch of the SatellitePro Manufacturer Awards as well, debuting with eight initial categories.
BroadcastPro Middle East and sister title SatellitePro Middle East hosted the third edition of its highly anticipated Manufacturer Awards on May 14, 2025, aligning the event with the second night of CABSAT. The ceremony, held at the H Hotel in Dubai, gathered more than 230 professionals from across the broadcast and media industry for an evening that celebrated innovation, excellence and collaboration.
This year also marked the introduction of the inaugural SatellitePro Manufacturer Awards, launched to coincide with the debut of SATExpo at CABSAT. With eight new satellite-specific categories added to the awards roster, the initiative ensures dedicated recognition for standout developments in the growing satellite and space tech sectors.
The Manufacturer Awards are designed to recognise cutting-edge technologies, breakthrough product launches as well as outstanding services from leading global manufacturers with a strong presence in the Middle East. Following a rigorous nomination process, industry stakeholders were invited to cast their votes, making the awards a genuine reflection of peer recognition across the sector.
Honouring the critical role manufacturers play in elevating broadcast performance and content production, the awards spotlight the technologies that are shaping the future of the industry. The event was held in association with CABSAT, the regions leading trade show for broadcast, satellite and media, now in its 31st year.
In total, 28 awards were presented across 17 broadcast and seven satellite categories, with winners chosen through an industry online voting system. This approach underscores the awards’ commitment to transparency and industry engagement.
The BroadcastPro/SatellitePro Manufacturer Awards continue to cement their role as a benchmark of excellence for the MENA regions dynamic media technology landscape, showcasing the ingenuity driving the industry forward.
