Bringing together 60 speakers and 800 experts in the field of cinema production, exhibition and distribution from 50 countries, the second edition of the MENA Cinema forum will address regional content production, promotion of best practices in the field and more.
The MENA Cinema Forum will return to Dubai from October 22 to 24, promising over 60 speakers and 800 experts in the field of cinema production, exhibition and distribution from 50 countries.
The 2019 edition will host an awards ceremony to spotlight regional leaders for categories: Movie of the Year, Exhibitor of the Year, Distributor of the Year, Cinema Design of the Year, Cinema Technology of the Year, Event Cinema of the Year, Best MENA Movie of the Year, Best Arab Movie of the Year, Best Bollywood Movie of the Year, Best Arab Director of the Year, Best Arab Actor of the Year, Best Arab Actress of the Year and Best New Cinema Design of the Year.
The exhibition will host a series of cinema industry talks, themed around building materials and design on day one and technology on the second day. Day three will focus on regional content production, promotion of best practices in this field and encourage regional and international collaborations.
Led by industry leaders the conference will address critical issues relevant to the region. Keynotes, technical presentations, panel discussions and live debates will be chaired by Jan Runge, MENA Cinema Chairman & Advisor.
