      The BroadcastPro Summit & Awards 2021 promises to be a powerful showcase for the debates, strategies and innovations now ripe to shape the industry’s future.

      Tomorrow’s ASBU BroadcastPro Summit is set to be an industry landmark – focusing the minds of the sector’s thought leaders and bringing together not only the industry’s acknowledged champions, but a good many newcomers, set to be the innovators and changemakers of the future. In reality, the fast-changing pace of the Broadcast universe means there’s never been a more critical time to understand the wealth of technologies and know precisely where the Smart money is headed: and the BroadcastPro Summit & Awards creates a compelling road-map for that future direction.

      The Summit is a powerful part of BroadcastPro ME’s commitment to bring together industry peers regularly through workshops and conferences, sharing key business developments, debating best practices and standards in the industry and discussing international and regional case studies.

      The event has a powerful track record of igniting fresh conversations, with this year being no exception. Featuring four keynote panel sessions, the BroadcastPro Summit tackles the new agendas and themes emerging from what has arguably been one of the most fruitful and productive eras of Broadcast technology. For example, the day starts by paying tribute to the over-arching reality that ‘Content is King’ – with a strong panel session titled ‘Curating Content for a diverse MENA audience’. The panelists will assess critical areas such as driving content consumption via social media platforms; adopting ad-funded programmes; and exploring the right strategies for investing in Arabic content.

      Profiling AI-tech

      At a time when the players with the power to monetise AI-tech own the sector, there’s never been a more crucial panel than the day’s second round table session, with the theme ‘Tackling AI-tech across broadcast and streaming media’. Themes at the core of the debate will include improved newsgathering and trend detections; remote production and contribution links optimization – and the all-consuming importance of enhanced distribution and successful feedback loops.

      What about Streaming?

      There’s never been a more important time to stand out from the crowd – so the Summit features a hallmark session on ‘Taking streaming to the next level’. Debates like how digital marketing and content consumption can feed each other will be paramount here, along with the all-important question ‘how to win share of time’?

      The three panel discussions culminate with a round table solely of leading CEOs – called ‘Thriving in the New World Order’. It brings together the people literally in the driving seat of change and best-placed to nurture the audience’s own views and business purpose. Topics are set to include a discussion of the best post-Covid strategies to adopt for a new world order; how to capture the opportunity of the rising demand for originals; and – of course – the impact of the shift to SVOD on FTA, pay-TV and cinema.

      The audience at the BroadcastPro Summit & Awards 2021 will discover a host of profitable solutions in a time of change – and reap the vital market guidance to empower fresh, positive vision as they shape their business mission.
