Sharjah’s Economic Development Department (SEDD) has announced that cinemas and entertainment centres can re-open in the emirate from June 24 at 50% capacity provided they follow the necessary safety guidelines.
Safety guidelines include temperature checks, adequate sanitisation facilities and maintaining the 2m distance in addition to limiting customers to 50% of the store’s capacity.
The opening is part of a larger announcement permitting the opening of private beaches, fitness clubs, children’s game rental facilities, online games centres and Internet cafes, water bike rental facilities, sports facilities and establishments, and parking services as part of a second phase.
