Sharjah TV has recently purchased Axient wireless system from Nicolaos M Kyvernitis Electronics Ent, the distributor of Shure Axient in the Middle East.
Sharjah TVs newly acquired wireless system consists of six channels of AXT400 receiver units, six AXT100 Axient Bodypack Transmitters and four AXT200 Axient Handheld Frequency Diversity Transmitters with KSM9 capsule. The complete system, including Spectrum Manager, Show link Access point, Rechargeable solution, Antenna distribution and a road-ready wireless Ethernet switch, offers the complete Axient features.
The system continuously scans for problems, always maintaining a list of back-up frequencies in order to provide a clean and compatible frequency whenever required. Using a data backchannel, Axient uses its unique frequency diversity feature to seamlessly switch channels before interference becomes audible, either automatically or via manual alert. The system also precisely tracks battery life in hours and minutes to within 15 minutes accuracy.
The system also manages Wireless Workbench 6 software. When connected Axient Spectrum Manager wireless workbench performs live RF scans and analysis, with detailed graphic overlays and device markers on a high-resolution frequency plot. During the show, Wireless Workbench 6 enables live remote adjustments to networked hardware for instant changes to frequency, gain, RF output power, battery life, RF signal strength conditions, and more.
