Written and directed by Hussen Ibraheem, Manity features performances by Jade Breidi, Hadi Jibbawi, and Charbel Kamel, with MAD Solutions handling the film’s distribution in the Arab world.
The film initially premiered at the Côté Court Festival in France and has since been showcased at festivals such as the Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece, Lucas – International Festival of Films for Children and Young People in Germany, Kuki Film Festival in Germany, and Izmir International Film Festival in Turkey.
Manity narrates the story of Firas, an 11-year-old boy accompanying his father Tayseer and his father’s friend Rayan on a bird-hunting expedition in the Lebanese mountains. What was intended as a serene hunting trip unfolds into an unforgettable experience.
